Critical to forecasting satellite capacity in SES was clear visibility of supply and demand at any one time. The existing finance systems needed greater flexibility and company-wide agreement on measurement to enable improved planning. A multi-dimensional plan was built. It needed to be able to cross reference against sales, operations and finance, to get a real picture of capacity.
